Village Reminds Residents About Winter Parking Restrictions

In order to help snow plow operators, the Village is reminding residents about on-street winter parking restrictions.

Overnight parking is prohibited on all Village streets from November 1st through April 1st, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. and at all times during snow emergencies.

The Public Works Department would also like resident cooperation during winter months by not keeping vehicles on the streets when snow is expected; as plowing around parked vehicles can be dangerous and time consuming.

Village Conducts Citizen Survey for Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan Update

As part of the Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) Update, the Leisure Services Department is asking Bellevue residents to share their opinions by participating in a web survey.

The CORP Plan provides the guiding framework for determining what future parks and recreational facility priorities should be.

The survey is one of many opportunities for citizens to share their opinions and ideas with the Village. The survey covers many areas including parks, recreational facilities and funding priorities. The success of future parks and recreational facilities relies heavily on the Village planning for what the community needs are.

The survey takes about 6-8 minutes and can be found at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CORP-Survey The Survey will be available until February 19, 2010.

If you have questions regarding the survey or would like to complete a paper copy, please contact the Village Office at (920) 468-5225.
