The annual Community Picnic will take place on June 9th at Josten Park, 2280 Town Hall Road. The picnic is an annual tradition, organized by the Bellevue Firefighter's Association and Bellevue Lion's Club. The funds raised during this picnic help support both clubs.
The celebration includes LIVE music, firefighters
water fight, children's games, food and drinks. Live music from Shaker & the Egg will be from 5pm to 9pm. The band is sponsored by Bank First National of Bellevue.

The K-9 Karnival – A Dog Day in the Park Event held to raise awareness and funds for the development of an off-leash dog park in Bellevue.The Village of Bellevue Leisure Services Department in partnership with Oak View Veterinary Hospital of Bellevue began a fundraising drive to build a public dog park in the village of Bellevue. The group organized the "K-9 Karnival", a fundraising event to raise awareness and funds to develop a site.
The event was held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Josten Park (2280 Town Hall Road). A variety of games and contests for dogs, children’s activities, raffles, dog costume contests, and pet photos were offered. The event raised over $1,600.
Sponsors of the event included Oak View Veterinary Hospital, Friends of Bellevue Parks, Animal House, Golrusk Pet Care and Forever Friends.

Save $$$ by purchasing attraction tickets through the Village of Bellevue.
Tickets must be purchased at the Village Offices, and are sold May through August. Most attraction brochures are available at the Village Offices.
The Leisure Services Department is set to offer "Movies in the Park" again for 2012.
The movies take place at Josten Park. Movies are shown beginning at dusk or around 8:30pm. The event is free. Concessions will be available and sold through the Junior Jets 4-H Club and Friends of Bellevue Parks.
The 2012 movie schedule is as follows:

- August 10th - The Muppets

The group has planned the K-9 Karnival, a fundraising event to raise awareness and funds to develop a site.
The event is planned for Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Josten Park (2280 Town Hall Road). A variety of games and contests for dogs, children’s’ activities, raffles & silent auctions, dog costume contests, and pet photos will be offered. Admission into the event costs $5 per dog. Participation in some of the activities will range from $1 to $10. Organizers hope to raise approximately $2,000 from the event.
The Village of Bellevue Leisure Services Department announces summer concert series line-up.
The Rockin’ in Josten Summer Concert Series, returning this summer is scheduled to open on June 11, 2012 and will feature local area talent from a variety of musical genres. The 2012 Series has been expanded to include six concert dates (on the second and fourth Mondays of June, July & August). Concerts will be free and open to the general public.
